Brazilian Grand Prix next as Monster Energy Yamaha maintain ranks
Monster Energy Yamaha will hope to feed off the positive results posted by David Philippaerts and Christophe Charlier at the Grand Prix of Mexico last weekend as they head to Beto Carrero in Brazil for round five of the FIM Motocross World Championship on Sunday.

Yamaha and MotoGP returns to Legendary Le Mans
Yamaha Factory Racing heads to France this week to prepare for round four of the Championship, the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France at the legendary Le Mans circuit. Jorge Lorenzo arrives trailing Championship leader Casey Stoner by just a single point in the standings and looking to take back the lead. Le Mans has delivered some great results for Lorenzo, the Mallorcan claiming two premier class wins plus one a 250cc GP victory.

Yamaha Frossard and Leib ready to go again for South American races
Monster Energy Yamaha will head to the Grand Prix of Mexico this weekend with the Rinaldi division of the squad fully fit and ready for the first FIM Motocross World Championship event to hit Guadalajara and the Nico España circuit.
Steven Frossard has felt a major improvement in his right knee since his anterior cruciate ligament surgery and unfortunate attempt to enter the motos at Fermo for the Grand Prix of Italy two weeks ago.

Yamaha Steven Frossard Column May 2012
So we are just about to go to Mexico and I feel a lot better with my knee. I have more movement, more strength and I reckon I will be able to do more on the Yamaha when we get to Guadalajara. It is amazing what a few days can do and I can accept now that Fermo and the Grand Prix of Italy came just too quickly after the operation.

Yamaha closes in on Honda in Indonesian market
Honda Motor and Yamaha Motor are going head-to-head as the leading sellers of motorcycles in Indonesia, the world’s No. 3 market.
The two makers combined command more than 90 percent of the market for motorbikes in the world's fourth most populous country.
The two companies are both bolstering their sales efforts to meet demand in the fast-growing economy.

Yamaha Millsaps confirms championship runner-up slot
JGRMX Yamaha’s Davi Millsaps has taken his YZ450F to second place in the 2012 AMA Supercross series – also an FIM World Championship – after finishing as runner-up at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas for the final round of seventeen last Saturday.
The 24 year old rode to his fifth podium finish of the season ahead of Justin Brayton who was his nearest threat to the number two plate. The gap between the two racers stood at nine points upon the close of the seventeenth main event in Nevada in front of nearly 40,000 spectators.

Yamaha Lorenzo Retains Unbroken Podium Record at Estoril
Yamaha Factory Racing rider Jorge Lorenzo continued his unbroken podium record at Estoril today. Starting from fourth on the grid he was quickly into second at the first corner and held the position to the line after a determined effort to stay with race leader Casey Stoner. The Mallorcan's legendary consistent lap pace meant Stoner was never more than one second ahead until the final lap and at times just 0.2 seconds in front. Lap three of the race saw Lorenzo deliver a new fastest lap record for Estoril of 1'36.909. He now heads to Le Mans in two weeks time just one point adrift of the Championship lead.

Traffic Denies Yamaha Front Row in Estoril
Today's qualifying session for the Grand Prix of Portugal proved to be a frustrating one for both Yamaha Factory riders. Jorge Lorenzo led for most of the session until a red flag incident between Colin Edwards and Randy De Puniet forced a restart with nine minutes remaining.

Yamaha Spies Finds Early Form in Estoril
Yamaha Factory Racing rider Ben Spies was back on form in Estoril today for the first practice sessions of the Portuguese Grand Prix. The Texan was one of the first riders to venture out in the morning session, braving mixed track conditions of wet and dry to test a big set up change. The new direction proved to be confidence inspiring, Spies topping the morning timesheets and remaining highly competitive in the afternoon, leading for a while and eventually finishing in second place, 0.321 seconds behind Casey Stoner.
