2012 Toyota Prius c Earns IIHS Top Safety Pick award
Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) today announced that the 2012 Toyota Prius c, a small hybrid, has earned the Institute's top award for good performance in front, side, rollover and rear impact evaluations.
The 2012 Toyota Prius c scored a highest grade (Good) on Frontal offset test results, Side impact test results, Roof strength test results and Rear crash protection/head restraint ratings.

Maddington Expands Business With New Toyota Forklift
A progressive West Australian concrete products manufacturer plans to grow its business by 20 per cent with the help of a specially modified Toyota forklift truck.
Maddington Concrete Products has commissioned a new Toyota 02-7FDA50 forklift, which will handle sections of concrete pipe at its Maddington (Perth) plant.
In an innovative cross-over of technology, the new forklift has a Cascade paper-roll clamp - which is traditionally used for handling newsprint rolls - to handle sections of concrete pipe.

Toyota GT86 and Lexus LFA set to take on the Nurburgring
The 40th edition of the ADAC 24 Hours Nürburgring race this year will be the sixth time for Japan-based GAZOO Racing Team at the world-famous German circuit. Through the team's various racing activities, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) aims to make ever-better cars by putting its products and people through the challenges such as the endurance race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, with each lap exceeding 25 kilometres.

2012 Toyota Yaris

Toyota applaudes its Centres of excellence
Toyota Centres at Harlech North Wales, Rochdale Lancashire and Boston Lincolnshire have been awarded with the top honours at Toyota's 'Ichiban' European Customer Satisfaction Award event, held on 8 May in the National Assembly Building in Budapest.
Harlech Toyota, RRG Rochdale and Listers Boston were recognised for their exceptional performance in customer satisfaction in both Sales and After Sales areas.

Toyota Prius Plug-In third fastest selling car in America
Toyota Prius Plug-In managed to walk away as the third quickest-selling car in the US, spending just five days on dealer lots.
The plug-in hybrid has only been on sale for two months, and took the honor of being the second-quickest selling vehicle in March.

Toyota Sales Resurgence Gets Help from Popular Hybrid Products
The Toyota Division's strong April sales performance (160,493 units for 13.1 percent increase compared to April 2011) was helped in large part by the release of its latest hybrid products that created high levels of consumer demand.
Rising fuel prices at the pump, a generation of better performing hybrid vehicles and an increased consumer acceptance of hybrid technology are all conditions that have propelled the sales of Toyota hybrid vehicles.

Toyota Recognises 42 retailers from across 32 markets with European Customer Satisfaction Award
Toyota Motor Europe (TME) announced the winners of the 2011 'Ichiban' European Customer Satisfaction Award during an event held last night in the National Assembly Building in Budapest.
A total of 42 awards were presented to retailers from across 32 markets, in recognition of their exceptional performance in customer satisfaction both in Sales and After Sales areas. Approximately 2,600 European retailers were evaluated on their results during a continuous performance monitoring, which is included in the company's standards. Based on a very demanding set of selection criteria, the winners offer top performance aiming to exceed customer expectations.
