Toyota collaborates on anime series

NEC , a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the addition of the 21-inch MultiSync® MD211G3 medical diagnostic display to the MultiSync MD Series. This three-megapixel grayscale model is ideal for medical imaging and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) in hospitals, doctor offices, urgent care centers and other healthcare facilities.
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today its Sixth-generation Mega Power Dual (MPD) Series of three insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) modules. The modules, which are for use in power converters, mainly those in large-capacity photovoltaic (PV) and wind power-generation systems, also are suitable for high-power applications in large-capacity inverters and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for industrial equipment.
Asahi Glass will launch four new products, including “SunbalanceTM Aqua Green” and “SunbalanceTM Pure Clear,” under the high thermal insulation Low-E pairglass “SunbalanceTM” series. These products will be manufactured at its Kashima Plant (Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture) by using one of the world’s largest coating facilities, which will begin operation in May, and will be released in succession from June.
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motor Corp. and a leading anime company are collaborating to stream web-based promotional anime series.
A teaser trailer for "PES: Peace Eco Smile" is currently being streamed online at the special website, Studio 4C (pronounced “4 degrees C,” with the official name including a degree symbol).
The theme of the anime is "to love people." It stems from Toyota’s ideal to pursue what it terms “people-friendly” automaking technologies.
