Nissan Altima First
The newest Nissan Altima rolled off the line in Smyrna, Tenn. today. It's been 20 years since the original model was made, and Nissan has sold 4.4 million Altimas since then. Technician Ronnie Cope has had a hand in every Altima model made. "When we started with the little four cylinder and few options you got. Now we've got everything, the V6, the handless control," said Cope.

All-New, 2013 Nissan Altima Begins Production in Tennessee
It has been 20 years since the first Nissan Altima rolled off the line in Smyrna. Today, more than 4.4 million Altimas later, Nissan celebrates another milestone: production of the top-selling vehicle's fifth generation.
The all-new 2013 Nissan Altima, which has been produced at Nissan's Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant since the first generation rolled off the line in 1992, is the first of five all-new Nissan vehicles coming in the next 15 months.

Nissan : Great Minds Think Electric
The 26th annual Electric Vehicle Symposium in Los Angeles (EVS26) is a show completely dedicated to electric vehicles in the newest shapes, colors, and sizes. This year's event was the first time for both the Nissan LEAF and the Infiniti LE to sit side by side.
"It's probably the strongest statement of the show," said Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML) Executive Vice President Andy Palmer.

2013 Nissan Altima Live Streaming Event

Nissan Maintains Strong European Sales in April
Today, Nissan in Europe announced sales of more than 49,000 units in April despite a weakening market in Western Europe.
Overall sales were down by 4,700 units compared to a record April 2011, with monthly market share dipping slightly by 0.1% year-on-year to 3.4%.

Nissan GT-R Track Pack Arrives At Nissan 22 High Performance Centres
Nissan's 22 High Performance Centres are braced for the first deliveries of the most focussed GT-R.
GT-R owners are among the most demanding in the world. In response to demand Nissan has replied with the GT-R Track Pack – a new version of the Nissan supercar for those drivers who require a faster, lighter, harder GT-R and one that has that extra edge at the race track.

Nissan in Brazil Reports 142% Increase in April Sales
Nissan of Brazil registered 8,614 units in April, growth of 142% compared to the same period in 2011, when the company sold 3,542 units. Registering 3.5% of market share, NBA surpassed its goal for the period and remained, for the fourth consecutive month, as the sixth best-selling automotive company and first best-selling Asiatic brand in the country.
