Toshiba to Establish Smart Community Center in Kawasaki Japan
Toshiba today announced that it is establishing a Smart Community Center in Kawasaki, Japan, that will support, enhance and advance the continued global development and expansion of Toshiba Group's highly promising smart community business. The 15-story building is scheduled to open in October, 2013, and will provide a business base for approximately 7,000 people.

Kawasaki Four To The Floor As Sykes Gets Into Gear Again In Superpole
Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) took his fourth Superpole win of the 2012 season today at Donington after setting a new track best lap of 1'27.716 in Superpole Three.
Sykes has only had to relinquish the Superpole prize once this season and put his latest success down to his team finding the right set-up on his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R for Tom to make the best use of a qualifying tyre in the very last session of the day.

Kawasaki Front Row For Sofuoglu As Morais Qualifies Sixth
Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini) took his Ninja ZX-6R to fourth place on the grid at Donington and in doing so earned himself a front row start for the fifth round of the season.
Sheridan Morais (Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini) worked well at Donington to go sixth on the grid and take a second row start, while Fabien Foret (Kawasaki Intermoto Step Racing) qualified tenth.

Kawasaki Donington Waits For Kenan And Sheridan
Kenan Sofuoglu and Sheridan Morais are each eager to get to Donington Park or the fifth round of the championship, with Sofuoglu out to win again and Morais looking to record his first podium.
The Ninja ZX-6R has proved a potent weapon in the hands of both Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini riders this year, but Sofuoglu has been able to see things through to the end more often. He is now in an enviable ten point lead of the championship, after scoring a first, a second and a third, his run of podium omnipresence only marred by a no-score at Imola.

Kawasaki Home Race For Sykes As Baz Joins Official SBK Squad
Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) will be going for a home win to add to his Monza success this weekend and he will have a new team-mate in the KRT garage, regular Kawasaki Superstock rider Loris Baz.
Sykes is now only a handful of points away from the outright championship lead. He and his Ninja ZX-10R have been competitive all season, irrespective of conditions or the kind of circuit they have faced.

Success Across The Board In BSB Paddock For Kawasaki
Kawasaki teams and riders enjoyed considerable success and thrilled Kawasaki fans trackside at Oulton Park in Cheshire over the May Bank Holiday British Superbike Championship race weekend.
The third round of the British Superbike Championship was eagerly awaited with the anticipation of exciting, close racing at the popular 2.7 mile undulating Cheshire venue boosted further by extra races being added to the roster due to the need to run legs postponed from earlier in the season.

Kawasaki Pourcel and Teillet new leaders in France
Great weekend in France for Kawasaki, as Sébastien Pourcel and Valentin Teillet won the penultimate round of the French Elite series.
Racing on a chalky track is never easy, but if you add some rain it's even worst! The racing conditions were pretty tough in Plomion (north of France) for the penultimate round of series, but it was another good day for the Kawasaki riders who are now leading both classes. Sébastien Pourcel from team CP377 Monster Energy Kawasaki is the new leader of the MX1 class, while Valentin Teillet leads the MX2 category with his Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki. Both will go to the final round (Gaillac Toulza on May 27th) with a minor advantage: one point for Teillet, and two for Pourcel!

Kawasaki Sykes Takes A Spectacular First Win Of The Season
There was no stopping Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) at Monza as he scored a clear win in the only SBK race to be completed today, thanks to weather conditions that constantly changed.
With the first race cancelled, the second race was delayed to let the track dry in some sections but at the green light Sykes set an unmatchable pace and soon put half the length of the straight between his Ninja ZX-10R and his pursuers. By the time the rains came back and the red flag came out to stop the race Tom had amassed a 9.709 second lead over a six rider group behind him.

Soccer: Kawasaki hand new coach Kazama 1st win
Kawasaki Frontale cut it close but won their first game under new manager Yahiro Kazama with a nail-biting 4-3 victory over Jubilo Iwata on Saturday.
Takuro Yajima led the way with a second-half brace while creating Ryota Oshima's opener before halftime for the former J-League runners-up, who nearly squandered a three-goal lead with less than 30 minutes to play.

Kawasaki Riders Going For More Gold At Classic Monza Circuit
Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini competitors Kenan Sofuoglu and Sheridan Morais will soon be able to give the engines on their Ninja ZX-6R machines free rein at the fastest circuit on the calendar, Monza.
The classic Italian circuit, build inside the grounds of a former Royal Park, has been around in one form or another since the 1920s. Even with several chicanes Monza is still a unique venue in terms of top speed and the need to slipstream, with engines held at full revs for a long time down the fast start-finish straight.
