The season ends Nov. 11, followed by the two playoff rounds on Nov. 18 and 23.
Ventforet Kofu won the J-League second division title with a 3-2 away win to Avispa Fukuoka on Sunday.
Kofu sealed their return to the top flight last weekend after their 2-2 home draw to Shonan Bellmare.
The second automatic qualifying spot, as well as the four playoff places introduced this year, are completely up for grabs with four rounds left in the J2 campaign.
