Veteran free agent pitcher Tsuyoshi Shimoyanagi has failed to make the Los Angeles Dodgers' minor league team.
The 44-year-old Shimoyanagi, who has a career 129 wins in Japanese baseball, was released by the Rakuten Eagles last season. He failed the Dodgers' minor league tryouts Thursday, and was unsure about his career.
"It would have been nice if could've pitched more, but I had fun," Shimoyanagi said. "I've got all the time in the world so I'll think long and hard about my future now."
