The Japanese rock band Remioromen, known for the 2005 hit ''Konayuki'' (powder snow), has broken up, the three-man band said on its website Wednesday. Their office said the band's vocalist, Ryota Fujimaki, 32, will debut as a solo singer in late February.
Members of the band, formed in 2000, said via the website they have decided to go their separate ways as musicians.
