On Tuesday, the team visited the construction bureau chief of the local government of Central Equatoria in Juba. He asked the unit to begin by repairing major highways since they become flooded whenever it rains.
The team also visited officials from the Japan International Cooperation Agency involved in the construction of a bridge. The officials asked the unit to repair the roads leading to the bridge since they only have enough funds to built the bridge.
They explained that the roads are in poor condition even though the route with the new bridge will serve as a major highway.
The unit says it will use the gathered information when it begins the construction projects in May.
