NEC has recently released its latest super compact LTE wireless base station allowing for wide range of installation options especially in spots suffering from limited spaces. The new enhanced series of LTE base station features a high function processor with volume of less than 10L , weight of less than 10kg and output power of 2 x 5W (MIMO).
The new MB4300 series is capable of serving up to 200 subscribers and features advanced SON (Self Organizing Network) for autonomous network configuration, optimization and automated network management for reducing deployment time while helping carriers to reduce their CAPEX and OPEX. Furthermore, the new series will features compatibility with multiple manufacturers equipment all in a single network leading to a flexible construction and operation of base stations for superb communication quality. The new MB4300 will be on display during the Mobile World Congress 2012 from Feb 27th to March 1st in Barcelona Spain.
